Casement windows are the more traditional style of timber windows where the opening casements (or sashes) are designed to finish flush with the outer frame. This type of window is popular in conservation work or in barn conversions and just as with our stormproof windows, can be manufactured in European Oak, Idigbo (a cost effective pale yellow durable hardwood which when stained looks very similar to Oak itself), Iroko, Sapele or preservative treated European Redwood for a painted finsh.
