Our glazed timber fire rated windows are fixed light windows manufactured from fully seasoned Redwood or Hardwood timber to suit fire rating required and complete with either 30 or 60 minute fire-rated glass. Supplied with white primer finish. Single pane fire retardant glass to 30 or 60 min integrity is supplied loose for site glazing when window is installed. Suitably tested intumescent glazing tape is also included. Our fire rated windows fully comply to current Building Regulations Approved Document B and glass manufacturers fire certifications.

Windows can be supplied to E30 (30 min integrity only), EI60 (30 min integrity & insulation), E60 (60 min integrity) or EI60 (60 min integrity & insulation) to suit your project specifications. Glazing to all our fire windows is compliant to BS 476-22 and BS EN 13501-2. We can also provide EW rated glass to 30 min or 60 min fire resistance which in addition to providing integrity also limits the heat radiation passing through. If required we can also supply internal non-fire rated windows with clear laminated glass.

Framing section 85mm - 125mm depending on your partition thickness. For wide partitions we recommend 100mm framing to accept a timber/MDF/plasterboard lining to tidy the opening reveal. Windows can be supplied to suit any size of opening with vertical mullions added to larger windows to prevent glass area being over fire certification tested perameters.

In addition to primed paint finish we can also supply our Fire Rated Windows in a range of clear finish feature woods such as Oak or Ash to create an aesthetic feature window or to match your décor.

WE ISSUE FIRE CERTIFICATION & FULL FITTING INSTRUCTIONS WITH EACH PURCHASE
